Burns started her TV career in 1995 when she joined the cast for the Spanish-American teenage sitcom Out of the Blue (1995-1996). She later played a role in Baywatch: Hawaii, the sequel to the Baywatch action show. Burns left Baywatch due to her pregnancies.
